Memories of Purdue, World War II in mint condition

Ralph Green, MS ’50, PhD ’54, is a professor emeritus of botany and plant pathology at Purdue University and a World War II veteran.

You may have read his story in the Winter 2013 edition of Purdue Agriculture Connections.

Green, 89, recently sat down for an interview recounting his experiences as a soldier in Europe during the war, as a faculty member in the College of Agriculture and as a veteran who went on an Honor Flight to the national World War II monument in Washington, D.C.

We thought you would enjoy hearing Green’s story in his own words.
