Unique to DPAC are the mapped timber stand mentioned above and a constructed wetland that is used for educational programs for landowners and K-12 groups. A 30+ acre field with drainage tile designed specifically for managing the seasonal water table allows researchers to examine the effects on crops and water quality by retaining water in the tile system at specific times of the year.
