Mini 4-H is a program designed to encourage positive development
of children, kindergarten through second grade.
The goal of Mini 4-H is to help young children explore friendships
outside the family, explore the way in which things work;
practice both small and large muscle control;
and think about the ways people work together on projects,
in a Non-Competitive learning environment.
Mini 4-H club meeting schedules are set by the
Adams County Mini 4-H leaders. For those clubs that
do not have meeting dates listed, please contact your
leaders or watch for information from your
Enrollment Deadline - May 1st
Adams Central - Meet on Thursday afternoons April 14, 21,28 and May 5
after school at the Fairground Dining Hall, from the close of school until 4:30 PM.
Mini 4-H Leaders will walk children from the school to the meeting and parents will
pick up the children at the close of the meeting at the Dining Hall.
Northwest - Wednesday - April 4, 11, 28 and 25 at 3:15 - 4:30 PM in the cafeteria.
South Adams - Meeting times TBA at
afterschool till 4:00 PM in the Cafeteria.
Southeast - Meeting times are Tuesday, May 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 at 3:00 to
4:00 PM in the cafeteria.
St. Joe - Meeting times are Thursdays April 12, 19 and 26 at 3:00 - 4:00 PM in the
St. Peter/Immanuel - Meeting times are Mondays, April 2, 16, 23 and 20 afterschool till 4:00 PM. in the schools cafeteria.
Wyneken - Meeting times are Saturday, April 14, 21, 28 and May 5 from
9:30 - 11:00 AM in the school cafeteria.

|Plants & Flowers - Explore new plants and flowers you find in your home and outside.
| Saddle Up - This project is for 4-H'ers that love horses but don't have a horse.
| Sewing - This projects introduces young
4-H'ers to the important life skill of sewing.
| Space - Explore the solar system and much more about the planet called Earth.
| Trees - Discover the many parts of a tree and how they grow.
| Whales & Dolphins - Swim under the sea with these fantastic creatures.
| Wildlife - This wildlife adventure is a fun way to get children outside and explore.
Mini 4-H Livestock Manuals and Record Sheets
| Dairy - The main objective is to introduce Mini
4-H'ers to the responsibilities of livestock care.
|Rabbits - Members will learn how to care,|
feed, and the general fitness of their pet.
| Goats - Mini 4-H'ers will work with a regular
4-H'ers in becoming familiar with care and how to show a goat.
|Sheep - With the help of a regular 4-H'er, Mini members will be introduced to caring and the showing sheep.|
| Horse and Pony - Mini 4-H'ers will have a 4-H
member mentor them on the care and showing of a horse safely.
|Starter Calf - Involvement in this project will help 4-H'ers learn to care for and show a Starter Calf.|
| Poultry - This project explores not only chickens
but also other birds of a feather.
|Swine - As one of the fastest growing projects in Adams Co., Mini members will|
work with a regular 4-Her on this project.
