4-H YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
If you have enrolled for this year - CONGRATULATIONS! We are excited to have you a part of the program for 2013.
If you have not enrolled yet, it is NOT too late! Turn your enrollment into the Extension Office as soon as possible. First year members to the Blackford County 4-H program can enroll at any time.
Those of you that were members in Blackford County last year - you can still enroll but there will be limitations. Turn your enrollment form in ASAP and talk to the office.

What's New!
Goat & Sheep Tagging is this Friday, May 10 from 6-8 p.m. at the 4-H Fairgrounds. Goat Wethers must attend to be weighed. Goats & Sheep attending the Indiana State Fair must attend for retinal scanning.
All Goats and Sheep must have a county ID tag or a readable tattoo to show at the Blackford County 4-H Fair.

4-H Camp & 4-H Teen Camp - Due MAY 10th!!!
Applications are NOW available for 4-H & 4-H Teen Camps. These camps will take place June 5-7 (Wednesday - Friday) at beautiful Camp Higher Ground in Dearborn County. This year the theme is "Time Travelers"! We will be going back in time AND taking a look at the Future! We hope you will want to come along with us.
The cost is $100 and is due MAY 10 to the Extension Office. Make your check payable to the Blackford County 4-H Council. If you would like a camp photo - that is an additional $5. It is also due on May 10.
4-H Camp is for youth currently in grades 3-5. The application is available by clicking here.
4-H Teen Camp is for youth currently in grades 6-8. The application is available by clicking here.

Mini 4-H

Mini 4-H is for youth in grades Kindergarden, first, and second. 4-H Mini enrollment is accepted anytime.
4-H Junior Leaders: Building Leaders...Not Followers

4-H Junior Leaders is for youth in grades 7-12. It is an opportunity for youth to learn leadership while organizing and performing community service activities. They work hard and play hard with monthly meetings, community service opportunities and FUN activities.
4-H Scholarships
4-H offers a variety of scholarships. 4-H'ers in grades 10 - post high school should check out this page for additional information. Applications are due February 1 to the Extension Office. If you would like assistance in completing your application, please contact the Extension Office several weeks prior to the deadline.
