    National      4-H Trip

    September 28-October 2, 2014

    About 200 youth from 4-H dairy projects around the U.S. and Canada congregate in Madison for the National 4-H Dairy Conference held annually in conjunction with World Dairy Expo.

    Must also include: National 4-H Dairy Conference  Essay.

    Grades 10-12 by May 1.

     

    Must be a current 4-H member and in at least the 3rd year of membership at time applying

    The Boone County awards committee will review applications and outstanding applications to the Indiana 4-H State Office. There will be a committee that then reviews all applications from across the state to pick the 9 Indiana Delegates.

    The state will judge on the following criteria:

    -       Ability to answer question on the application

    -       Phone interview will be based on member’s presentation and interview.

    National      4-H Trip

    November 28- December 2, 2014

    Atlanta, Georgia

    Majority of trip is sponsored.  Your cost is the $250 non-refundable deposit plus incidentals (about $100)- Due June 15 to Purdue

    Must also include: *State 4-H Scholarship/Trip Demographic Form *National 4-H Congress supplemental questions                *Letter of recommendation from 4-H Youth Educator

    *Forms (county and state) Due – February 15, 2014

    FALL BOONE COUNTY TRIP/ AWARDS APPLICATION FORM

    DUE TO EXTENSION OFFICE BY SEPTEMBER 1, 2014

    4-H Achievement Trip to Chicago

     

    4-H Members currently in grades 8-12 at the time of the trip.

    Trip is given to members who have received excellent record grades and done well with project placing. Participation in extra 4-H activities will also be considered (ie Officer, Winner of other awards, Jr. Leaders)

    FOR 2014 YEAR

    Trip is usually in October

    Trip winners will be notified by mail if they are selected. Winners must return confirmation paperwork or they will be removed for list of attendees and the spot will be filled by another 4-H member.

    This trip is FREE of charge to 4-H members.

    There are youth from across the state that will attending. Youth Educator from Indiana will be chaperone.
