Welcome to Crawford County Extension!

The Purdue Cooperative Extension Service - Crawford County Office makes the knowledge and research of Purdue University available to everyone in Crawford County.

Our Agriculture & Natural Resources Educator provides programs and information on agricultural production and financial management for farmers and consumers. We provide expertise in environmental issues, natural resource conservation, livestock production management, Masters Gardens and many more programming areas.

Our Consumer & Family Sciences Educator provides programs and educational workshops on everything from food safety to caring for the elderly to financial responsibility. Extension Homemakers clubs continue our educational mission in fun, creative programs. We also have two amazing FNP (Family Nutrition Planning) Program Assistants who are here to serve the needs of the members of our community.

In 4-H Youth Development, Extension Educators, volunteers, parents, and local leaders help youth develop their talents, skills, and leadership abilities, and have fun in the process! 4-H also provides school enrichment programs, scholarships, workshops, and Purdue-sponsored trips and events.

Extension helps with Economic & Community Development by working with communities to provide information on community improvements and land-use planning.
