The Delaware County Extension Office makes the knowledge and research of Purdue University available to everyone in Delaware County.

In Agriculture & Natural Resources, we have programs and information on agricultural production and financial management for farmers and consumers. We provide expertise in environmental issues, natural resource conservation, land use, and Master Gardener courses.

Our Health & Human Sciences Educator provides programs and educational workshops on everything from food safety to caring for the elderly to financial responsibility. Extension Homemakers clubs continue our educational mission in fun, creative programs.

In 4-H Youth Development, Extension Educators, volunteers, parents, and local leaders help youth develop their talents, skills, and leadership abilities, and have fun in the process! 4-H also provides school enrichment programs, scholarships, workshops, and Purdue-sponsored trips and events.

Extension helps with Economic & Community Development by working with communities to provide information on community improvements and land-use planning.
