Agriculture and Natural Resources (ANR)

Grant County, Indiana

ANR Program Description

The agriculture and natural resources (ANR) program extends the research and knowledge base of Purdue University to serve a diverse Grant County audience:

  • Traditional agriculture is served though programs such as private pesticide applicator recertification programs, and through topics such as integrated pest management, farm management, agronomy and animal science.

  • Residents and homeowners can benefit from information about pest identification and control, home lawn & garden information, trees and landscape plants. Many enjoy the popular Master Gardener program.

Educational venues include personal consultations, group meetings, webinars, newspaper articles, and radio spots.
