Beginning and novice gardeners are encouraged to join the Hancock County Master Gardeners for a series of free seminars that will focus on how to grow your own vegetables. Whether you have a backyard garden or just have space for containers you are welcome to attend. Hancock County Master Gardeners will provide demonstrations and instruction bout planting, fertilizing, weeding, recognizing pests, harvesting and even preparing the bounty! An informal atmosphere will allow for questions and great hands on learning with the objective being to encourage new gardeners and provide them with the knowledge to start and grow their own garden this year!
