GAPs (Good Agricultural Practices) Fall Webinar Series

Farmers and others who wish to learn more about the Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) should plan to attend the webinar based program for on farm food safety this fall in Hancock County November 14th, 19th, and 21st from 1:00pm-4:00pm (Eastern Time)
Attending these three 2.5 hour webinars will meet the current requirements of the Indiana State Department of Health for farmers to be an approved vendor of fresh fruits and vegetables. Being an approved vendor and registering with the state are currently required to product wholesale or other than direct to consumer.
Participants will need to be at all three presentations to receive the certificate of attendance.
A registration fee of $30 includes program, workbook, handouts, certificate of attendance, and mock audit workshop. An additional $10 fee provides for a second attendee from the same farm with one set of materials.
Anyone who wishes to participate without certification may attend at the hancock County site or remotely from their home or office computer for Free.
