If you are a current member of 4-H in grades 3-8, you are invited to participate in our camping experiences this year.Fill out all forms and return them to the
Washington County Extension Office in Salem by May 1st.
The Community Garden is taking applications for the garden spot at the Rhoads Pool site. The plots are 10' X 15' and cost $10.00, you will receive gloves and hand tools to use on your garden. Register by calling or coming to the Extension Office. Space is limited and first come first serve bias.
The Harrison County 4-H Fair will be held during July 27-August 1, 2012 .For information about the fair call the office or can be found in the Harrison County 4-H Handbook.
Opening day for the Farmers Market is planned for April 28, 2012 from 8am - noon Saturdays only till June then we will open on Wednesday evenings, at the parking lot at the Mission Baptist Church on old Hwy 135 next to Sears and Dollar Store. Bedding plants will be sold for your garden in April along with food items and crafts. For more info, contact Miranda Ulery/ Stanley Miller at 812-738-4236
