Today we continue our heritage by working to strengthen Indiana homes and families.
As An Extension Homemaker You Have the Opportunities to:

Mission Statement:
To strengthen families through continuing education, leadership development, and

Annual Home and Family Conference
Spring and Fall District Meetings
Exchange Homemaker Program

Extension Homemaker Chorus
Focus Group Areas
Education:
Through cooperation with Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service, a wide
range of lessons are offered at NO charge. Program areas include: Food and Nutrition,
Human Development, Family Resource Management, and Special Interest Lessons.
Leadership:
i-LEad- Indiana Leadership Education and Development, a personal leadership development program
Leadership opportunities at local, district, and state levels
Sponsor of Indiana Family Impact Seminars for legislators
Volunteer Community Support:
Teddy Bears for Riley Children's Hospital and participate in other Riley activities
Support of Ronald McDonald House
Women's Health Awareness Programs
Organ Donor Education
Annual Participation in National Make a Difference Day
Support of local community projects
