WHERE DOES YOUR MONEY GO?
Do you feel as though you are always stretching to make your money work for you from paycheck to paycheck? You will learn to recognize where your money goes, stop spending leaks to save money for what you really want and develop a spending-savings plan.

Purdue Extension of Huntington County is offering a FREE 2 hour workshop titled “Where Does Your Money Go?” upon request.

The training will be instructed by staff or trained volunteers from Purdue Extension Huntington County.

Attendees will learn how spending money today will affect their future spending, how to take control of their money, how to plan for emergencies, and how little expenditures add up. If you always feel like your income is shrinking and your bills are expanding, this is the workshop for you!

 Getting Ahead in a Just Gettin' By World

Getting Ahead is for people on the lower rungs of the economic ladder.  It is about building economic stability.  People who want to can use this program to build their path to a good paying job, to stable housing and to the ability to save for a rainy day and old age. 

This series of group meetings will be held on Thursdays from 11:30am-2:00pm at the Courthouse Annex 2nd Floor meeting room at 354 N. Jefferson St, Huntington, IN. 

The plan is to have lunch during class with a nutrition lesson from the Family Nutrition Program. 

The expectation for participants is that you will make every effort to attend all group meetings. 

The next series starts on April 3, 2014.
