Family Nutrition Program (FNP)

The Family Nutrition Program Assistant delivers the Small Steps To Health curriculum in Jackson County to help low-income adults improve their diet quality, food security, and basic food budgeting information with a wide variety of hands-on learning opportunities. The research-based curriculum consists of nine lessons that include information about the MyPyramid food groups and offers participants the option of recipe demonstrations in their home or a community setting.
