    Give Alice a call at the Jasper County Extension Office (219-866-5741 or       219-956-3606 ext. 4961) and set up an appointment to have your gauge tested. There is a $3.00 fee for this test.                                                                     

                                                         Dining With Diabetes 

    "Dining With Diabetes" is a research-based program that helps participants to live more comfortably with their  diabetic diagnosis. Current plans are to offer the four part series in the spring at lunchtime. A light meal will be provided using recipes from the program. If you are interested in attending the "Dining With Diabetes" seminars, please call us here at the Jasper County Extension Office 219-866-5741 or 219-956-3606 ext. 4961. 

    Mastering Aging Well 

     Purdue Extension, in cooperation with Oregon State Extension, has an online program available entitled "Mastering Aging Well". There are several ways you can use the program. You can register for the online study, complete it on your time, and learn. You can also schedule a discussion group with an educator.
