  LaGrange County well-represented at 2012 Indiana 4-H Congress

Seven LaGrange County 4-H youth and adult volunteers joined County Extension Director John Emerson for the 2012 Indiana 4-H Congress on November 10 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.  Sponsored by several donors including Ceres Solutions, Monsanto, Alliance, the National
4-H Council and the Indiana 4-H Foundation, the day long 4-H Congress recognized the 2012 4-H Accomplishment Scholarship winners along with providing workshops on community service, youth and adult partnerships, and use of social media. 

Educational sessions this year focused on service and ways both youth and adult participants can incorporate ideas and methods in their home communities. Some 180 Hoosier 4-H youth and leaders participated in the program.
