INVITATION TO WESTVIEW ELEMENTARY STUDENTS
Westview students who enjoy science, math and related topics are invited to join us for introductory activities on Wednesdays, November 20th and December 18th right after school in the cafeteria.
A generous grant from Farm Credit Services has provided youth with the opportunity to explore topics in STEM or science, technology, engineering, and math. Qualified adult volunteers have stepped forward to help move this opportunity along. Supplies will be provided along with an after school snack. Activities will conclude at approximately 5:10 p.m. so participants can board the school shuttle bus.
Employment, business, and education statisitics have highlighted the need for workers holding technical proficiencies or STEM skills. As with many other fields, early opportunities provide an advantage in a global economy.
Participation is free but interested youth are asked to contact the school office by Monday November 18th so we can ensure adequate supplies. If you have any questions, please contact us at 499-6335 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Hope to see you on November 20th!
