4-H Ambassador Board
Each year, the Lake County 4-H Club Committee recognizes the 4-H members in grades 9-12 with the highest levels of achievement in 4-H projects, activities, and awards throughout their entire 4-H careers. These members are invited to represent Lake County 4-H by serving as 4-H Ambassadors.
Ambassadors are chosen in October based on the "My Record of 4-H Achievement" forms that members complete each year. During the year, Ambassadors assist with 4-H events and complete their own Ambassador Projects to increase public awareness of 4-H and encourage youth to participate. Ambassadors are also eligible for additional awards which are announced at 4-H Achievement Night at the Lake County Fair. These include financial awards to be used for educational expenses.
More information about the program can be found in the Ambassador Program Guidelines. Ambassadors are asked to complete an Ambassador Record Sheet and bring it to their awards interviews.
