Pesticide License Recertification Programs
The following are some local programs available for recertification credits:

  • • Winter Farmer's Breakfast Meeting at Harry O's in Cedar Lake, IN will be February 13, 2013.

Commercial Pesticide License
If you are a farmer that sprays pesticide commercially, over more than your own property, you will need to acquire a Commercial Pesticide License. Please contact Nikky about how to do this and check out the information on the Office of the Indiana State Chemist website. For those that are licensed, there are several programs that are offered in Lake County so that you may earn your recertification credits. See the list below of common programs or visit this website: https://www.isco.purdue.edu/exec/index.php?nav=pest&p1=conf.

Private Pesticide Applicator License
If you spray pesticides only on your own agriculture fields, you will need to acquire a Private Applicator License. The process is outlined on the Purdue Pesticide page and you can contact Nikky for more information. For more upcoming programs where you can earn credits, please check out the Purdue Pesticide Program Calendar of Events -  http://btny.agriculture.purdue.edu/parpevents
