What is the Family Nutrition Program for Seniors?

The Family Nutrition Program (FNP) helps individuals and families to select nutritious foods that fit within their budget.

How much does the program cost?

The Family Nutrition Program is FREE to seniors 60 years and older who are food stamp eligible.

Learn how to:

- Make nutritious food choices on a budget.

- Stretch your food dollars to last the whole month.

- Make healthy choices when eating out.

- Protect your family from foodborne illnesses.

- Plan meals that your family will love!

Where does FNP take place?

These nutrition lessons take place in your home or a community setting such as community centers, senior living apartments, and local libraries for individuals or groups.

Who teaches the nutrition lessons?

Paraprofessionals teach the nutrition lessons.  Lessons are interactive and hands-on.
