Adult Leaders provide leadership and guidance to the local and county based clubs in Monroe County. In order to become a 4-H Leader, one must submit their applications to the Monroe County Extension Office and undergo a background check.
Any young person who is involved in the Monroe County 4-H program may participate in Junior Leaders if they are currently in grades 7 or above.
The 4-H Board of Directors are the overseeing body of the Monroe County program, and are the governing body of the 4-H program. This board meets on a monthly basis, and hold their annual meeting the fourth Monday in October.
