Volunteer Application and Screening Process
We appreciate your interest in serving as a 4-H Youth Development volunteer in Monroe County. The application and screening process involves a number of steps. Applicants are not accepted into the program until the entire procedure has been completed.
To begin the application process, please review the volunteer position description, located under adult volunteer forms below. After viewing the responsibilities and qualifications, the next step is to complete the volunteer application package (see all links below)and return to the Extension Office. Please make sure to provide complete contact information for your references. You will also need to submit a government-issued photo ID.
Once our office receives your application package, we will complete a background check and contact your references. Please make sure to provide complete contact information for your references.
Potential volunteer will meet with the 4-H Youth Development Extension Educator to discuss program responsibilities.
Information on volunteers who have successfully completed the screening and selection process will be submitted to the Monroe County 4-H Board of Directors for acceptance as volunteers in the Monroe County 4-H Youth Development Program.
