4-H Youth Development programs help youth learn life skills through informal, hands-on activities. These programs and activities help youth develop their leadership skills and explore future career options. 4-H members can only be members of 4-H clubs in one county or state. 4-H is available to all youth in kindergarten through 12th grade! Participation in the 4-H program is not limited to "farm kids." Many who participate in 4-H are involved in projects that are not related to agriculture!

Orscheln Farm and Home:
On February 17, 2013, from 6:30- 8:30 pm, Orscheln Farm and Home will be having a special night for 4-H and FFA members. Orschelns will give 20% off discount on members’ purchases. This discount is for items to be used with 4-H/FFA projects (Examples: animal feed or garden seeds). 4-H members will need to present their 4-H card as proof of membership. Membership cards are available at the Perry County Extension Office. For more information call the Perry County Extension Office at 812-547-7084.
