$5 Lunch! Pike Co. Agencies for Kids Fundraiser

PCAK will have a lunch fundraiser on Wed., May 22 from 11 am to 1 pm. The booth will be located on Petersburg's 8th Street, between Main & Walnut.

Proceeds support the annual Children's Safety Fair. Click here or call the Extension Office for details.

Little Miss & Mister Pike County

We are still taking applications for the 2013 Little Miss & Little Mister Pike County pageant. Contestants must be residents of Pike County, and be at least 5 years old and no older than 8 years old as of July 1.

2013 Jr. Naturalist Program

   Area youth who have just completed grades 1 through 3 (i.e. will be entering grades 2 through 4 this fall) are invited to participate in the Jr. Naturalist Program this summer.
   Sessions are planned for Wednesday mornings in June at Hornady Park. During theses sessions, kids can learn more about: Trees, Fossils & Native Americans; Insects & Spiders; Animals & Birds; and Fishing & Aquatic Life.
   Cost is $15/session -or- $45 for all four sessions.

Reminder: Livestock Enrollments are Due Soon

Remember - Enrollments for poultry and rabbit are due by June 1st!!! (Members in grades 3-12 should complete the 4-H Rabbit and/or 4-H Poultry forms, while members in grades K-2 should complete the Future 4-H Livestock form.)

Cookbooks can be purchased in the Extension Office. Books are now $5 and proceeds will go towards updating the 4-H Building.
