1. All ceramic pieces must be purchased in green ware.
2. Each exhibitor must learn to clean and finish the exhibit properly.
3. ALL CERAMIC exhibits must be accompanied by a 5" by 8" card explaining how each exhibit was finished and the techniques and processes used.
4. Additional general rules and information for all divisions are included in the ceramic project handout.
Beginners (Grades 3-5)
Use simple molds for ceramic exhibit. First year members use one to three colors of stain or glaze. Each year advance in difficulty by the use of more color.
Intermediate (Grades 6-8)
Use simple to moderate molds for ceramic exhibit. May use air brushing, decals, and over glaze in addition to advancement of beginning staining and glazing.
Advanced (Grades 9 & up)
Use moderate to difficult molds for ceramic exhibit. May incorporate any techniques from beginning and intermediate divisions with any advanced staining, glazing, and other techniques you wish to use.
