Farmer Coffee Hour Programs
Purdue Extension- Randolph County will be hosting the 2013 Farmer Coffee Hour Program series beginning in late January. Please see the dates, topics and speakers listed below.
Thursday, January 31, Agricultural Outlook, Chris Hurt, Purdue Extension Specialist. Chris will discuss grain production prices, crop carryover supplies and other important ideas to assist you in making your farm operation more profitable.
Thursday, February 7, Agronomic Review of the 2012 Corn Season, Bob Nielsen, Purdue Extension Specialist. Bob will share his observances of the drought stricken 2012 corn production season and share ideas on how to stress proof the crop in future years.
Thursday, February 14, Crop Insurance Update, Jeff Oswalt, East Central Ag Crop Insurance and Randolph County Extension Board Member. Jeff will share with us the different crop insurance options available and update us on any changes that will be occurring for 2013.
All programs will be held at the Randolph County Fairgrounds and begin at 8:00 am. Breakfast will be sponsored by First Merchants Bank. Preregistration is requested by calling the Purdue Extension Office at 765-584-2271.
