Farmers’ Achievement Banquet
One of the top awards presented at the annual Farmers’ Achievement Banquet is the Award of Honor presented to outstanding leaders. There is no greater honor a person can have than to be given special recognition by his friends and neighbors for outstanding work he or she has done.
If your organization would like to nominate someone, nominations must be in the Extension Office by January 18, 2013. You need to provide information on your nominee, such as:
- Number of years active in organizations
Leadership responsibilities
Leadership activities
Community Service activities
Church affiliation
Other
The Farmers’ Achievement Committee reviews the nominations and makes the final decision on who is honored. Award winners need to be present at the 2013 Farmers’ Achievement Banquet in March 2013 and will be ineligible to win the Award of Honor again.

Be sure to put the words “Award of Honor” on the upper right hand corner of the letter. You also should indicate who is making the nomination and who can be contacted if this is a group nomination.
