Friday, August 3 through Sunday, August 19. Come join the fun at the Indiana State Fair. Rush County is well represented with many 4-H'ers showing animals or having exhibits at the 4-H Exhibit Hall and Centennial Hall. Programs are available at the Extension Office in the Courthouse.
The Rush County Parenting Council is open to individuals and organizations who are interested in fostering the development of effective parenting skills and building a system of good support for families raising children in Rush County. The Council meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month, 4:00 - 5:00 p.m., in Room 102 (Commissioners' Room) of the Rush County Courthouse.
The Council has prepared a brochure of Parenting Resources in Rush County. Copies of the brochure may be obtained at the Rush County Extension Office, Room 103 of the Rush County Courthouse, or online under the Parenting Link in the Family heading on the left side of this page. Captain Cash Says...Capt Cash
Captain Cash promotes an understanding of financial lieteracy, encourages students to save by showing them how, guides students to spend less than they earn, and helps students gain an understanding of what borrowing money means.
Captain Cash is designed to guide students as they learn abou real-life money management. This progoram brings an understanding and a feeling of control as elementary school students learn how to manage money now and in the future.
