Health & Human Science Newsletters - February
Hi! I’m ready for warm weather. The sunshine has been wonderful but the temperature has been a little extreme. I’ve been searching for ways to make my home as efficient as possible in the cold weather. Many hardware stores sell a contraption to slide under your door to keep cold air from coming inside. They are inexpensive and effective. Sometimes a small stream of water needs to run to keep pipes from freezing. Not efficient as far as water use goes, but effective to keep pipes from freezing. Bundling up in blankets and putting on more clothing can help one tolerate a lowered home temperature setting. Do you have any tips to help with your home energy use? Please email them to me and I’ll share your wisdom with others.
