Dining with Diabetes

Do you have type 2 diabetes?  Would you like to learn more about your disease and how to live well while reducing your health risks?  If so, Purdue Extension has a great program for you! The five-session program will give you the information and motivation to help you make positive lifestyle changes for improved control of your diabetes.  In addition to the educational sessions, you'll learn how to prepare healthy recipes, sample prepared foods, and plan balanced meals.  This program has been successful in helping participants reduce their long-term health risks and improve their quality of life. 

Dining with Diabetes will be held TBA at the Warren County Learning Center in Williamsport.  The program is open to those with diabetes, their family members or caretakers.  The series of 4 sessions is $25 per person or $45 per couple.  Pre-registration and payment is required.  To register please call the Warren County Learning Center at 765-764-1880.
