Indiana Extension Homemakers Association Website

The Indiana Extension Homemakers Association mission is to strengthen families through continuing education, leadership development and volunteer community support.  If interested in forming a club for a specific interest or to find out how to become a member call our office (762-3231).  Township clubs meet monthly.

A class designed for to increase the confidence, mobility and strength of the participants to keep being active as aging occurs.  The classes consist of light exercise, discussion and possible solutions to situations that occur to prevent inactivity.  Cost:  $5.

When diagnosed with diabetes, it can be very confusing to know how to change your eating and cooking habits.  Dining with Diabetes can help you understand how your body uses the food you eat and how to cook healthier and more creatively.  Registered dieticians will teach each of the four classes and food samples will be prepared for you to try during each of the two hour sessions.  Pre-registration is required.
