Myers Family 4-H Loan and Amick Loan for Purdue Juniors and Seniors
G R A D U A T I O N
Graduation - it's what every college student looks forward to, almost from the moment they step foot on campus as a freshman. Unfortunately, a college education - and the graduation that comes with it - doesn't come cheap. For many students, worrying about how to pay for college can sometimes overshadow their college experiences.
The Myers family has established a loan program for former 4-H members that can help to alleviate financial concerns for Juniors and Seniors at any of Purdue's campuses. The Myers Family 4-H Loan is an interest-free loan that allows students to take care of part of their college expenses in the latter parts of their college careers when many other scholarships and grants run out and the financial strain on students increases. Another interest-free loan option for Purdue Juniors and Seniors is the Amick Loan.
Recently, the Myers family decided to increase the loan amount from $2,000 to $2,500, matching the Amick loan maximum amount. Students have the opportunity to receive a Myers Family 4-H Loan or an Amick Load twice (as long as their second loan is when they are academic seniors), which means they could receive up to $5,000 to help them cover college expenses!
You can access information about these loans along with the application forms here. Please pass information about these loan programs on to everyone you know who could qualify for them. Let's help make graduation day more in reach for our 4-H alums so that they can start living their Bright Green Futures!
