Although 4-H starts in third grade, second graders have the opportunity to get a taste of the program in Mini 4-H. In
Mini 4-H, members may take up to two projects that are offered. After choosing from six projects, members receive a manual and must complete activities; just like in regular 4-H! Their hardwork pays off as their projects are displayed at the county fair.

To let members learn more about the Mini 4-H program and what it offers, there is a Mini 4-H day held every year.
The fun-filled day starts out with ice breakers and crafts. After a short educational program, the Mini 4-Hers are fed lunch and are given some playground time. In the afternoon members work on some more crafts. The day concludes with a trip to the local pool. For the past few years, members have had the chance to plant flowers in a planter to be used for decorating during the fair.
