NATURAL RESOURCES/ENVIRONMENT

                                  Warren County Recycle Center
             
WHAT CAN I RECYCLE AT THE WARREN COUNTY RECYCLE CENTER

  1. Electronics:  Any time during normal business hours.  Please check in at the office.  NO FEES WILL BE CHARGED.  
  2. Plastic:  Plastic containers with numbers 1 thru 7, and plastic shopping bags. 
    Plastic does not have to be sorted, but please
    rinse all containers thoroughly.
  3. Aluminum/Tin Cans:  Aluminum and tin cans. They do not have to be sorted, but please rinse all containers thoroughly.
  4. Florescent Light Bulbs:  Accepted any time during normal business hours.  Please bring into the office. 
  5. Batteries:  All household and tool batteries can be recycled, along with vehicle batteries.
  6. Used Oil:  Motor oil only – no household oils, please. Oil filters cannot be recycled; drain, bag and dispose in your household trash. 
    Pick up dates can be arranged for larger quantities in late summer.
  7. Cardboard/Paper/Books:  All of these items can be recycled.  Please flatten cardboard boxes to save space.
  8. Household Appliances/Scrap Metal:  Any time during normal business hours – phone to make after-hour arrangements if needed.
  9. Printer Ink & Toner Cartridges:  Any time during normal business hours. 
    Please bring into the office or give to any Seeger Recycle Club member.
  10. Tires:  Only at special collection dates.   Please contact the office for dates & times.
  11. Glass:  There is no outlet for glass, so glass is no longer accepted at any of our recycling locations. 
    Please dispose with your household trash.

Black Walnut - Thousand cankers Disease Update 

Don't Panic Thousand Cankers Disease that effects Black Walnut, has not come to Indiana at this time. This is an update to monitor what is happening.
