Directions to the Extension Office

The Washington County Extension Office is located in the Washington County Government Building, directly behind the Washington County Detention Center.

From Hwy. 56 or 60 West take Hwy. 135 South at the stop light, travel to the 2nd stop light, turn east on Hwy. 60 travel 5 blocks and take Martinsburg Rd. to the right. There is a large sign that says Government Office Bldg. The Extension Office is on the lower floor of that building.

From Hwy. 60 East coming from Borden or Pekin area, when you come to the Washington County Detention Center on the left side of the highway take the next road to the left which will be Martinsburg Rd. Take Martinsburg Rd. to the Government Office Bldg. The Extension Office is on the lower floor of that building.

Washington County Fairgrounds Salem, In 47167 Hwy. 60 West, Hwy. 56 or Hwy. 135 North From Hwy 60 West take Hwy 56 East and follow the directions below. From Hwy. 56 take Hwy. 135 south to the Salem Square; go three quarters around the square and take East Market Street, go approximately a ½ mile and the Washington County Fairgrounds will be on the left side of the road. From Hwy. 60 East and Hwy. 135 South From Hwy. 60 East coming into Salem take Hwy 135 north to Salem Square go to first street to right (East Market Street) and go approximately a ½ mile and the Washington County Fairgrounds will be on the left side of the road.
