We are presently taking applications for class membership for Leadership White County 2012.  The classes will begin on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 and conclude with graduation on Wednesday, March 21, 2012.  This will be the third Leadership White County class.

Leadership White County evolved out of the highly successful Hometown Competitiveness Program which provides a comprehensive approach to rural community development that embraces four core strategies or pillars:  entrepreneurship; wealth retention; youth; and leadership.

The registration fee for the 9 session course is $200 and includes all educational materials, books, refreshments, and meals.  Sessions will take place at various locations throughout the county and will include information on getting to know your county and leadership skill development.  Sessions will be taught by various state and county leadership specialists.
