Undergraduate Capstone Forum – Spring Semester 2012

The Spring Semester 2012 Undergraduate Capstone Forum is scheduled for Thursday, April 19 (tentatively from 3:15-5:00 pm) in 116 WSLR.

 It is the responsibility of each student to submit, by email, a tentative capstone presentation title to Dr. Richmond no later than March 2nd if they intend to make their presentation during Spring Semester 2012. A final schedule for the capstone forum should be available the 12th week of the semester.  Capstone presentations should be limited to 12 minutes with an additional 3 minutes for questions.

 All students planning to participate in the Spring Semester Capstone Forum should be enrolled in ENTM 49300 during Spring semester using the course registration number of their mentor.  Please consult your capstone mentor for advice on credit hours (1-3).

 After the written capstone summary or poster has been reviewed and approved by the capstone mentor please email it to Prof. Doug Richmond (drichmond@purdue.edu).

Successful completion of the capstone experience, including an oral presentation, and a written summary or poster, is a departmental requirement for graduation. Please see the ENTM 49300 course website and syllabus for further information: http://www.entm.purdue.edu/courses/493/index.html

If you require technical assistance with AV or computer equipment for your presentation Please contact Bill Kielhorn. The capstone forum will be set-up with a computer and LCD projector by default. Only students with special presentation requirements above and beyond those previously mentioned will need to contact Bill.
