Employees of nonprofit organizations and government agencies can learn how to prepare effective grant proposals at a Purdue Extension workshop. "The Beginner's Guide to Grant Writing" is part of a series of workshops designed to help beginning and intermediate grant writers craft persuasive proposals. The two-day workshop will be led by local Extension educators and supplemented by presentations from grant-writing experts and professionals from Purdue University. The workshop will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (local time) on Oct. 26 and Nov. 16 at the Purdue Extension Johnson County Office, 484 N. Morton St., Franklin.
