Summer Field Technicians

The HEE annually hires 2 - 10 temporary technician positions, in addition to numerous positions for individual surveys. These positions conduct field work on the HEE field sites located in Morgan-Monroe and Yellowwood State Forests near Martinsville and Bloomington, Indiana. Announcements for all summer 2015 positions are provided at the links below. Applications for all positions are due by February 27, 2015. Detailed application instructions are provided in the announcements.

Field Assistant - 2015 Field Season - The Hardwood Ecosystem Experiment is seeking a temporary field assistant for May-November 2015 to assist with breeding bird surveys, small mammal trapping, and salamander surveys, among other duties. The field assistant will also help to oversee field crews from May-August and manage the HEE housing facility. Details are included in the job announcement at the link above.

Wildlife Field Technician - 2015 Field Season - The Hardwood Ecosystem Experiment is seeking up to 7 candidates for temporary breeding bird survey and small mammal trapping positions for May-August 2015. Depending on interest, applicants may apply for only bird or mammal positions or they may apply for the entire summer. Details are included in the job announcement at the link above.
