My name is Ashley Holmes and I'm a NRES/Environmental Plant Studies sophomore. I love being a part of the student farm and the culture shift that it represents in the way we produce and distribute our food. Grow local, buy local! I was an intern on the farm last summer and I learned more than I could have imagined about research, growing my own food, chickens, and how to make best friends with a duck. I also documented our farm's first season. I love being a part of FCAP and hope to continue using my camera to give the farm a face and a good graphic presence on Purdue's campus.
